ABOUT ME

Ryan Otten prepped at the soccer power Brookfield East High School (Brookfield, WI), and was an integral part of a soccer program that won WIAA State Soccer Titles in 1995 & 1997.

Along with his playing experience, Otten has served as a Varsity Reserve coach at Brookfield East HS (2005-07), Head Coach of Girl’s Varsity soccer at Sussex Hamilton HS (2008-09), Director of Select Coaching and Player Development at the Sussex Soccer Club (2009), and Boys & Girl’s Varsity coach at New Berlin West HS (2010-2011).

 

In 2012 and 2013, Otten was the lead Assistant Varsity coach at Catholic Memorial for the girls program, which claimed the Division 2 State Championships both seasons (and finished ranked 8th nationally by NSCAA with a 23-0-1 record in 2012). Also, Otten was an assistant to both the Men's & Women's teams at Cardinal Stritch University (Milwaukee, WI);  helping lead the Men's team to back to back CCAC Regular Season Titles in 2013 -14. In addition, Otten had been a staff coach for Elm Grove Soccer Club where he trained elite club teams in the Milwaukee area (U10-U17 Boys & Girls) for four years.

 

In 2015, Otten was appointed the Director of Coaching & Player Development for the Ohio Extreme Soccer Club. He managed the South branch for the club, and  was focused on daily growth and improvement for all teams in both the technical and tactical areas.

Currently, Otten is the Director of Coaching & Player Development (Girls) for Sporting Springfield (Springfield, MO). He oversees the girls side of the club, and is focused on player development for ages U9-U19.
